Our mission at The Children's Medical Center of Dayton is to improve the health of children in the Miami Valley. As a not-for-profit 155-bed regional pediatric referral center, we are the only facility in the region devoted to the health and safety needs of children and their families.
We have created this blog as a way to communicate key children's health and safety issues to parents and other child advocates.
Dayton Children's maintains and monitors this site. It is managed by the department of marketing communications and development. Comments can be sent to woodsb@childrensdayton.org.
We encourage comments and discussion on our blog. We want parents and child advocates to share their questions, concerns and thoughts. We do not pre-moderate any comments and welcome all kinds of views. However, Dayton Children's reserves the right to delete or censor comments with content that is abusive, off-topic, contains personal attacks, promotes hate of any kind, uses foul language, is blatantly spam or is reported as abuse. Please remember that when you post a comment to our blog, it is published for all to see. For your own privacy, do not post detailed personal medical information linked to your name. The views and opinions expressed in comments are strictly those of the author(s) and in no way represent those of Dayton Children’s. We assume no liability for the information and extend no warranty or guarantee of accuracy. Please note, we cannot respond to every comment, particularly those that deal with individual medical cases and issues. We thank you for your interest in Dayton Children’s and look forward to an ongoing discussion about those things that are important to you, particularly positive health outcomes for children in our community.
