International Walk to School Day

Wednesday, October 7, is International Walk to School Day - a day to celebrate the importance of walking. Dayton Children's and Safe Kids Greater Dayton are supporting Safe Kids Walk This Way events - programs held in conjunction with International Walk to School Day, that focus on children being safe pedestrians. 

Safe Kids Greater Dayton and Dayton Children's are pleased to announce the following schools and organizations that will be participating in Safe Kids Walk This Way 2009:

• Cleveland Neighborhood School Center, Dayton
• Council on Rural Services Head Start, Troy
• Edison PreK-8, Neighborhood School Center, Dayton
• Fairview PreK-7, Neighborhood School Center, Dayton
• Harmon Elementary School, Oakwood
• Kiser PreK-8,Neighborhood School Center, Dayton
• Miami County School Districts, Troy
• Milton-Union Elementary School, West Milton
• Milton-Union Middle School, West Milton
• Orchard Park Elementary, Kettering
• Versailles Elementary School, Versailles
