What an ordinary day is like with Sickle Cell Anemia

My ordinary day with Sickle Cell Anemia is normally just like everyone elses. I just have to watch what I do and dress appropriately for the temperature to make sure I don't have a pain crisis. Sometimes I have to take morphine, tylenol w/ codene , ibuprofen (motrin), and now for my severe cases vicaden. Other than that my day is pretty normal and I don't let the Sickle Cell Anemia take control of my life.

Hi, Shayla,
Good luck in Washington, DC! I know you will charm all those politicians and make a significant impact to help the kids back here. I can't wait to hear all about your trip!
